Sorry!  
This week has just been so damn busy. This is the first REAL break I've had yet... *sigh*  And it's still not a real break. I have so much work to do.
This week is break - I'm taking this time to go down to Mary Baldwin and camping. :) woohoo. I'll hopefully finish all the work I have to do... hopefully.
Sorry, Seth... the wild ponies ate my 10 page research paper... :(

long ass day  

So, my brother sold his soul this morning (got baptized, I mean). I guess that I couldn't talk him out of it... *sigh* Not that there's anything wrong with dedicating yourself to a religion; I just wish he'd waited until he'd had a chance to explore the options available to him. 

One student so far today- - - been working on the lit mag and on my Brit Lit presentation. wooooooo...

Finally  
Registration time! Woo-hoo! Well, sort of. I finally got the course offering for the fall, but I can't actually register until April 3rd. I'm going down for another overnight over spring break, and hopefully they'll let me register early as an honors student.
Boring day again today, although I got some work done, which was awesome.
Not too much to report today.... :)

The Boredom Continues  

There is so much more I could be doing right now... Well, not really, now that I think of it... I left the lit mag at home today... I have a paper due on Tuesday which I could be working on.. I left the book I'm to be reading at home, but I could be reading it online (woohoo for Peter Watts and Having all his books online for free!!!!!)... I have 5 pages of one of my massive term papers due Thursday, but all my sources are at home.... I could work on my Brit Lit presentation... I guess.. If I had to... :( *sigh* I prolly should.

Daryl and I are going to Carrabas and "The Bank Heist (Job?)" tonight... woohoo!

Another Day, Another Bore  

So, work from 10-2 today.. speaking of which.. I should really clock out.. but I'm going to wait until after I finish this post. :) bad me. 

Up 'til 1 last night working on this stupid paper that was due yesterday. I have writer's block up the wazoo.

The lit mag is finally coming together, it actually looks pretty cool. I put together three different versions for the editors to look at and approve (well, three sizes with 8-13 pages each)... Still waiting for the course list from MBC>>>> *sigh* and debating if it's really where I want to go... I should stop second guessing myself; it's becoming a pain in the ass. 

Alright, I should really go to class now (BORING). *sigh* I would love Brit Lit if it weren't for the other students who hate it oh so much. Gawd, I can't wait to get to Mary Baldwin... >.> 

Alright, this is really random, but did you ever notice that the number 3 on the keyboard looks like fish lips? look veeeeeeery closely.

Of Laziness and Lateness  
So I woke up this morning and was REALLY not ready for class- physically or mentally.. and I couldn't get my paper done last night (fell asleep at the computer). So, what did I do? Went to see my lawyer. *cough* 
I missed a lecture from a local scholar who specializes in a poet we're studying (Wallace Stevens), the handing in of the papers, a little discussion, and my second class (completely by accident). I feel really bad about the second part, especially since my group ended up getting shafted and having to go without me. I got there about 2/3 was through the presentation with my giant masks for my group to act out the story, and there they are floundering around trying to figure out what's going on (I'd basically prepared our whole presentation). I mean, on one hand it kind of serves them right for making me do all the work, but at the same time... *sigh* I have to check with Seth and find out if he'll let me do something to make up the grade. I felt like an idiot. 

So now I'm chilling in the LC downloading Daft Punk and procrastinating. I have life shit I should be doing, but I'm not. I know I sound like I do nothing at this place, but I really do. I just post here in my down time.... :)

Disorderly Conduct  
So, I'm being charged with a summary offense of disorderly conduct for that bullshit at McDonalds. They wouldn't take my credit card and gave me a really hard time and then threatened to call the police. I left when they asked me to, but I guess they called the police after all. I have to go to court and tell my side of the story to a judge or just pay a fine. Since I have no $$, I suppose I have to go to court------ my anxiety is going to kill me.


So, I'm still waiting for this course list from Mary Baldwin... I'm sooo excited! This is taking waaaaay too long. >.< aaaaah! lol. 

At work right now, trying to finish up my Animal Consciousness paper before some random student shows up begging for my help (which I suppose I have to give them...). Yet, I still procrastinate.. aka.. update my blog. lol. Ridiculus. I am simply ridiculous.

(no subject)  
So, I was accepted to Mary Baldwin this past week. :) woohoo! I've been working on that for a while, and I finally succeeded! I get to register for classes on Monday (they're emailing me a course list this weekend sometime) and then next week I register for summer classes at HACC.

So, today..... I've been working here at the Learning Center and I've had four people wander in.. three of whom left me alone (they were just lost) and the other wanted help which I couldn't provide. Sorry, folks.. we don't teach English here.. only help English students with their papers. I got a shit load of work done on the Lit Mag.. taught myself Quark, got about 13 pages (out of the 146) done... pain in the ass to type all the entries, but it was our own stupid decision not to require electronic submissions.. I do have to give Sue a hard time about deleting the submissions we did get on our email. Grr.

I also got all my research together for my Honors Comp paper on 'Animal Consciousness and Thought'. I'm debating if I want to check out all of these books along with all the online articles I found (like 40). Here I was worried I wouldn't get the minimum 4 pages... I think I might actually get more like 7 or 8 (maybe even nine!!!)

Great, I lost the sheet of paper that had all the classes I chose for my major. >.< I'll have to re-do that. That'll be a pain in the ass. *sigh* Oh well..
